Katie Blake

Katie is an expert in securing funding sources for the development of community projects. Her expertise includes conducting research on funding opportunities, writing and editing components for grant proposals, grant management, program development, reporting and analysis, and capacity building. Katie is recognized as an innovative individual with exceptional problem solving, multi-tasking, communication, and organizational skills.

Prior to working with Hailstone Economic, Katie worked as a Community Development Coordinator and Development Specialist with large, complex nonprofit organizations in Lackawanna County. In these roles, she secured nearly $1 million in resources for community projects, developed and implemented fundraising strategic plans, cultivated positive relationships with the community, and created systems to manage information.

Katie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Pace University and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
