Jessica R. Dreistadt, Ph.D.

Jessica has dedicated 20 years to improving communities through her work in the nonprofit sector. She has served as the leader of a family center system in a public school district, a shelter for families experiencing homelessness, a community development corporation, and a women’s leadership network. A skilled manager and leader, Jessica is known for her ability to develop ambitious goals, secure support, coordinate resources, and promote achievements. She artfully integrates the big picture with extensive details to get results. Jessica’s areas of expertise include research design, data analysis, writing, marketing, community engagement, strategic planning, project management, and training and facilitation. Jessica has secured more than $10 million for various community projects through local and national competitive sources. She has also facilitated the development of community revitalization plans for several municipalities in Pennsylvania. Jessica was an instructor in the Division of Business at DeSales University for 11 years and is the author of more than 10 books. She earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership and has master’s degrees in Nonprofit Management and Sociology.
