Resources to Help Your Community Address COVID-19

Over the past few days and weeks, we have been exposed to an unprecedented and unanticipated community challenge: effectively preventing the spread of COVID-19 and helping people prepare for and cope with this challenge. We would like to share a few resources that we have found helpful to understanding and addressing COVID-19.
If you would like to track confirmed cases by country and state, Esri has created interactive maps. Montgomery County, PA has used Esri to create a community hub with helpful information for residents, businesses, service providers, and others.
Many state and federal agencies have issued guidance about COVID-19 including:
- Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development
- Pennsylvania Department of Health
- Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce (guidance for employers)
- U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
- U.S. Department of Labor (workplace safety, employment issues)
- U.S. Department of the Treasury
- Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
HUD created a Quick Guide to CDBG Eligible Activities to Support Infectious Disease Response.

HR6074 – the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act, was enacted on March 6th. HR6201 – Families first Coronvirus Response Act passed in the House.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has many resources available including:

- Daily Situation Reports
- Myth Busters
The U.S. Small Business Administration has a Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program to assist eligible areas.
